Catherine M. Monahan

Also known as: Catherine M. Monohan

Only remnants of the wooden hull and parts of the keel are left; the relief comes from a 10 to 15 ft pile of hardened cement bags. Anchor, chain and windlass at the bow are the only larger metal parts. The cement reef shelters countless crabs, shrimps, eels and small tropical fish, with unusually many angelfish and large schools of spadefish around the edges. Visibility is usually good because of the hard sand bottom.
