Aquarium
Aquarium is the northernmost site of the Columbus Landfall marine park on Grand Turk. Unlike most moorings, where the boat sits over 30 to 35 feet, it starts deeper at about 50 feet. Its soft corals are very lush, as at the other northern sites, and its back reef is made of spur and groove formations. Divernet describes reef ridges that rise and fall to form sand canyons, topped with healthy brain corals, sea rods and sponges. Being so far north, it sometimes has light to moderate current and on rare occasions a strong one, and fish life is usually plentiful.
