Garatshausen
Divers park in front of the kiosk and carry their gear only a short way to the shore, and the kiosk, toilets and changing rooms make the site comfortable. The muddy bottom slopes away gently, so reaching 25 m means swimming far out towards the middle of the lake. Between about 3 and 5 m a green belt of stoneworts is worth a closer look, and following the jetty westward leads to an old, badly decayed boat at about 10 m. A thick pipe starting at about 3 m makes an easy guideline down and back to the entry. It is a popular place for training dives and suits relaxed divers who are not looking for anything spectacular.
