Pangulingan

Also known as: Panggulingan · Pandalingan

Bunaken Divers describes an unusual profile of two slopes joined by a rounded wall, which creates ridges at both ends. Raja Laut starts the dive on the steep wall, watches the blue for tuna, jacks, barracuda and whitetip and blacktip reef sharks, and then crosses a coral slope at 20 to 25 m with batfish before reaching a boulder area at 5 to 10 m. Big boulder and table corals in the shallows shelter schooling fish, and the boulders hide nudibranchs, ribbon eels and mantis shrimp. The site is prone to strong currents that can run up or down, so it cannot be dived on every day. Starfish.ch reports a corner at about 28 m crowded with mackerel, barracuda, whitetip reef sharks and a large napoleon wrasse.
