Eastern Sambo

Eastern Sambo completes the Sambo reef system, whose three parts are separated by white sand. DeeperBlue describes it as the deepest of the three and an exciting dive with lots to see. A section is closed to the public for research and requires a special permit, and yellow buoys mark that boundary. Nurse sharks resting on the sand, brain coral and turtles are reported on the Sambo reefs.
