Malvín Norte
Also known as: Malvin North
The mooring lies in a shallow bay protected from the strong easterly wind, which keeps the site diveable on many days. A wide Posidonia meadow starts in only a few metres of water and holds schools of salema, amberjacks and sea bream, and late in summer well camouflaged pipefish. The usual route is an out-and-back along the northern half of the islet, going deeper on the way out. Big rocks along the way hide groupers, moray eels, octopus and scorpionfish. Scuba Ibiza also points out that the site combines underwater archaeology with landscape and marine life.
