Dado Pequeño
Also known as: Dau Petit · El Dado · Small Dice
Above water the islet looks like a mere rock, but below it hides a wall, a pinnacle and many big blocks that allow routes for every level. The shallow rocks are coated with hydrozoans, yellow anemones and sponges, which makes the site popular with macro photographers. Around the boulders divers meet brown meagre, sea bream, moray eels, scorpionfish and nudibranchs, while barracuda, dentex and huge schools of salema swim in open water. Scuba Ibiza also names dentex, conger eels and the elusive black moray. According to Vellmari, the freighter Don Pedro struck an underwater pinnacle of this islet in 2007.
