Torpilleur 178
Also known as: Torpilleur T 178
The torpedo boat 178 went down during gunnery exercises in November 1921 and now lies north to south in the bay of Cavalaire, near the wreck of the Togo. It is 37 m long and very narrow, and although heavily degraded its overall shape is still clear. The wreck is hard to detect with a sounder, so Wannadive recommends marking it with a heavy shot line. Mio Palmo rates the dive as difficult and offers it to level 3 divers and above.
