Roches Quairolles

Also known as: La Grande Quairolle · Grand Quairolle · Petit Quairolle

Mio Palmo counts the Quairolles among the most beautiful sites of Cavalaire and recommends them to photographers. In good weather the east face shows its gorgonians in the morning light, while the west face has overhangs carpeted with sea mimosa. Groupers, conger eels, fan mussels, dentex, moray eels and brown meagre are found around the rocks. The Var tourist board names the Grande Quairolle among the best shallows and drop-offs of the department.
