Cap des Mèdes
Also known as: Rocher de Mèdes · Les Mèdes · Rocher des deux frères
Below the pierced rock, large schist blocks step down from about 10 m to the sand and Posidonia meadow at around 25 m, and divers can circle the islet from block to block. Small red gorgonians grow here despite the shallow depth, together with anemones and sponges. Octopus are common, and Mio Palmo also names groupers, moray eels and brown meagre.
