Pointe de l'Escampobariou

Also known as: Escampobariou · La Madrague de Giens

Saint P'Hyères Plongée starts at the buoy in the cove and follows the cliff around the cape to a scree slope after a steep wall. A conduit through the rock, whose main entrance lies at 17 m, gives a second route back, and further west the wall is covered with sea mimosa and small niches. Wannadive mentions a small cave and wall and warns that the site cannot be dived in a strong east wind. With the wind from the west, many boats gather in the cove, and current can make the return tiring. Mio Palmo notes that the rock falls of the point lie sheltered from the mistral and are framed by Posidonia meadows.
