Les Trois Îlots
Also known as: Les 3 îlots
Three large pyramid-shaped rocks stand in a line, with two smaller and less pointed ones further south; the main pyramids are much steeper on their west faces and slope gently to the sand on the east. Three holes in the cliff help boats find the spot just before the Pointe des Sans-Culottes. Moray eels and scorpionfish live on the rocks while white sea bream and dentex patrol around them, and in winter John Dory and anglerfish are often seen. The Côte d'Azur tourist board notes that experienced divers can continue to the Tombant des Américains, known as 'Le Câble'.
