Le Michel C

Refloated once in 1896, the Michel C went down for good after a collision in 1900. Inside the bow divers can still see winches, anchors and machinery, while the centre has collapsed and the stern at about 32 m keeps only the shaft, a one-bladed propeller and the rudder post. A family of groupers, moray eels and conger eels live on the wreck. Currents can be strong, the bottom drops quickly to the west and heavy boat traffic crosses the pass, so a surface marker is advised.
