A-Frame
Divers enter from a flat rocky plateau below the beacon post and swim about 60 m before descending onto sand. A huge granite outcrop stands above the water, with boulder groups and swim-throughs to the north and a small cave with big sponges on the smaller rock. The overhangs are bright with anemones, sponges and feather stars, and octopus and cuttlefish are regular sightings, with eagle rays and short-tail stingrays in summer. Most of the site lies in a restricted zone of the marine protected area, so fish life is healthy. The outer side of the big rock can be surgy, and the water silts up at the start of winter.
