Swimming Pools
Also known as: Swimming Pools I · Swimming Pools II
The Swimming Pools are coral outcrops and small bommies spread across a sandy seabed, listed by Pro Dive Cairns as two sites, Swimming Pools I and II. Most of the fish life is in the shallows, which keeps the average depth around 10 metres. Schools of diagonal-banded sweetlips and many nudibranchs are the classic sightings. Gorgonian fans grow on the outer bommie, which also has a swim-through. At night divers regularly find sleeping turtles and barracuda.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
