Bajo de Dentro
Also known as: Bajo de Enmedio
Bajo de Dentro is a steep rocky peak that climbs from deep water to within a few metres of the surface, and its top can be toured in a single dive at a sensible depth. On the northern face a cave leads through the rock, and Planeta Azul notes large groups of brown meagre inside it. A short swim west of the mooring lie the Needles, two tall pinnacles separated by a channel where barracuda schools, groupers and moray eels gather. The southern slope is covered in white gorgonians that turn red and yellow further down. Eagle rays, dentex and the occasional sunfish pass by in the blue.
