Naranjito
Also known as: Isla Gomera · Pecio Isla Gomera · Nadir · Pecio Naranjito
The Naranjito was built in Cadiz as the Nadir, renamed several times and sank as the Isla Gomera when a heavy sea shifted its cargo of oranges, which then washed up along the coast. The wreck rests upright near a corner of the marine reserve and can be explored from bow to stern in one dive, with the bow as the shallowest point and the propeller half buried in the sand at the stern. The engine room with its boiler is still recognisable. Groupers, dentex, schools of seabream, conger and moray eels and lobsters live on the hull, and sunfish are often seen nearby. Currents, thermoclines and the depth make it a dive for experienced advanced divers.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
