Bajo del Descargador

Also known as: El Descargador · Bajo el Descargador

Bajo del Descargador lies in the Cala Flores area south of the cape, outside the marine reserve, and rises from the sandy seabed like a small submerged island. The rock and its surroundings host salemas, small groupers and groups of white seabream. The bay is sheltered from easterly and southwesterly winds and is valued by underwater photographers. Red mullet, octopus, stingrays and tube worms are typical sightings.
