Pohon Miring
Dives usually start on the eastern side of the northern tip of Banda Besar, on a slope of mixed hard and soft corals. The best-known feature is a roomy swim-through of about 15 m whose inside is lined with sea fans, barrel sponges and soft corals. It leads out to a wall covered in large gorgonians, tube corals and sponges, where bumphead parrotfish and Napoleon wrasse pass in the blue. At the point, currents meet over a rocky plateau where big Napoleons play in the flow and the crevices hide scorpionfish, leaf fish and ghost pipefish. Visibility is often excellent, and the site suits divers who enjoy current.
