Suanggi
Also known as: Manukang · Pulau Suanggi · Suangi Seamount · Manukan
The island rises out of open water in the Banda Sea and is home to large colonies of seabirds. Around the island a shallow reef gives way to a steep wall, and a nearby submerged pinnacle is where most of the pelagic action happens. Masses of black triggerfish and blue dash fusiliers cover the reef, while dogtooth tuna, mackerel and barracuda hunt along the wall. In season, groups of hammerhead sharks are seen here, and tuna, marlin and other large pelagics pass by. A trip report recommends a negative entry to reach the pinnacle and a reef hook, as the current there can be fierce.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
