Cousteau's Blue Hole
From the surface Cousteau's Blue Hole looks like a small round pond in the forest, but it drops more than 400 ft. An overhang runs all the way round at about 50 ft, so the hole is roughly twice as wide below as it appears from above. The surface water is green and murky, and a clear halocline follows below it. It was first explored by Jacques Cousteau, whose name it carries. Small Hope Bay Lodge divemasters guide dives here.
