Walchenseebucht

This bay site is a gentle shore dive that a local dive school offers in every season. Seagrass meadows and an underwater forest cover the slope, and clear water wells up from small spring pots. A collection of old bicycles and other small items such as tyres lies between about 7 and 15 m. Crayfish are common, and the dive school says the bay shows the variety of life in the lake better than most sites. It is often used for night dives.
