The Pinnacle

Also known as: Pinnacles

A tall reef outcrop stands next to the north-side wall, rising from deep water to within about 20 ft of the surface. Between the pinnacle and the wall a chimney drops to roughly 70 to 80 ft, where a winding tunnel opens onto the blue at about 130 ft. West of the pinnacle the wall is sheer, while to the east it breaks into overhangs and sandy canyons. Spotted eagle rays and turtles are often seen off the wall, and Utila Dive Centre also mentions dolphins there.
