Aquarium

Also known as: East End Reef

The site lies near the airport at the eastern end of the island. A plateau between the shore and the main wall carries a wide variety of soft corals and sea plumes, while the wall itself runs parallel to the coast and drops onto sand that keeps descending. Wave action has carved arches, overhangs and caverns into the coastal rock; the largest, Tarpon Hole, is named after the fish that use it as shelter. Southern stingrays are common on the deeper sand.
