Scoglio che Bara
Also known as: Sasso che bara · Scoglio Bara
The rock lies about 60 m off a tall vertical boulder on the shore. Its walls are blanketed in sea daisies, and a crack on the west side passes right through to the other side, sheltering groupers, bream and dense schools of chromis. At the bottom, near 35 m, yellow sponges line the crack and the remains of a wooden motorboat rest on the seabed. Divers then spiral back up around the cone. Infoelba recommends it as a night dive, and Consorzio Elbano Diving notes that the currents here favour many nudibranch species.
