Punta San Francesco
Two mooring buoys mark the site at about 12 to 14 m over emergent rocks and Posidonia. Heading east to south-east, divers reach a large wall covered in gorgonians, sponges and bryozoans, whose edge at 25 to 30 m opens onto sand down to 50 m and beyond. Large scorpionfish, lobsters and morays live in the cracks, and dentex and barracuda pass early in the dive. On the way back a slightly uneven bottom carries white gorgonians, and groupers and the odd electric ray sit near the mooring. Infoelba calls it a perfect site for underwater photography.
