Punta Ischiaiola
Also known as: Punta di Cala Ischiaiola
The dive starts in the lee of the point over a large Posidonia meadow, then heads out to the wall that begins at about 20 to 25 m. Coralline algae, sponges, bryozoans and yellow gorgonians cover the rock. Red coral, which at Giannutri usually grows much deeper, can be seen from about 30 to 40 m. Groupers, forkbeards, bream and passing snappers, barracuda and amberjacks are common. A separate deep route from a nearby shoal follows a wall from 60 to 90 m with old anchors.
