Punta Galera
Novices circle the ridge, whose north side is full of cracks lined with sponges and sea daisies hiding small groupers, and whose shallow wall is covered in yellow sea daisies and white fan worms. At about 19 to 20 m crevices shelter small lobsters and congers. Experienced divers cross a sand strip to a second ridge that falls beyond 50 m, where yellow gorgonians give way to red ones. Amberjacks, little tunny, bonito and dentex can appear in the blue. Strong currents dominate the area and make the return to the boat tiring.
