Punta delle Secche
Also known as: Secca II
Rocks rise from an uneven bottom almost to the surface. The interesting side faces open water, where walls and boulder falls are colonised by gorgonians, sponges, tunicates and anemones. Dens between the rocks hold forkbeards, squat lobsters, congers and large morays. A light current in the first 10 to 15 m often brings barracuda, gilthead bream and dentex. At night divers may meet the anemone Alicia mirabilis and the white-spotted octopus.
