Ohotu
Also known as: Ohotu Reef · Ohutu
Ohotu lies on the ocean side of the reef next to the north pass. Divers follow a coral plateau that starts at about 12 m and drops gently to about 30 m before the wall, then come back up over coral gardens. TOPDIVE describes the reef as a nursery for fish, with very healthy coral. Along the drop-off grey reef sharks, whitetip sharks, tuna, scads and manta rays are regular, together with schools of barracuda, surgeonfish and snappers, and dolphins with luck.
