Hospital Reef
Also known as: White Sand Coral Reef
Hospital Reef sits in the calm water of Dutch Bay in Trincomalee. With a maximum depth of about 10 m, little current and sandy patches between the coral, it is used for first dives, Open Water training and skill refreshers. Soft and hard corals attract colourful reef fish, and moray eels and octopus turn up from time to time. Dive Trinco lists it under the name White Sand Coral Reef as a site for Discover Scuba and beginner divers.
