Los Chuchos

Also known as: Moray Rock

Chuchos is the Canarian word for rays, and roughtail stingrays, common stingrays, bull rays and eagle rays are the reason most divers come. The reef has ledges, overhangs and small caverns, with schools of bream, bogues and barracuda in the water above. Moray eels, octopus and cuttlefish hide in the rock. Close by on the sand lie the remains of a small boat, which GooDiving names as the sailing boat Estorne at about 20 m. The flat profile on the sand keeps the dive easy to manage.
