Shaab Sataya
Also known as: Sataya Reef · Satayah (Dolphin Reef) · Sha'ab Satayah · Satayah Dolphin House · Dolphin Reef · Dolphin House · Shaa'b Sataya (Dolphin reef)
Sataya is the biggest reef of the Fury Shoals, a crescent several kilometres long whose outer wall shelters a sandy inner lagoon. A resident pod of spinner dolphins uses the lagoon to rest, and boats let guests snorkel with them during surface intervals. The east side is a classic deep wall dive where tuna, napoleon wrasse and, in season, hammerhead sharks can appear at 30 to 40 m. The west side starts in a shallow white-sand pool and leads through a hole onto a plateau with coral patches and many blue-spotted stingrays before sloping to about 20 m. Fragments of old clay amphorae lie on the inner slope, and the sheltered lagoon is a common overnight mooring for liveaboards.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
