Roonies

Roonies is a small, deep reef patch out to sea of 2 Mile Reef and north of Bikini. Its best-known feature is a large black coral tree, which Tank Dive calls the largest in Sodwana and which shelters hawkfish. Seahorses live on the reef, and Coral Divers names the territorial longnose hawkfish as a resident. Because of the depth bottom time is short, but sharks, billfish and other pelagic fish are often seen during the descent and ascent.
