Turtle Rock

West of Donald Duck Bay, stacked rocks and staghorn coral run along the shore of Koh Similan, with a sandy bottom at around 25 metres. A shallow area in the north has a swim-through, and boulders further west drop away towards 30 metres. Kuhl's stingrays and garden eels live on the sand, while the crevices shelter sweetlips, groupers, snappers, angelfish and morays. True to the name, sea turtles are often seen, and large sea fans in the deeper parts host crabs. The current is usually not strong, which makes it a relaxed dive.
