Koh Bon Pinnacle
The top of the first pinnacle lies at about 18 metres and a second one at about 24 metres, and the walls drop far below recreational limits. Yellow soft corals, large sea fans and barrel sponges cover the rock, and anemones host several species of clownfish. Manta rays, whale sharks, leopard sharks, shovelnose rays and whiprays have been seen around it, and reef sharks swim between the rocks below. Boats drop divers in the blue so that they can reach the top quickly, and some operators dive it only in good conditions and with nitrox.
