Honeymoon Bay
In front of a small beach on Koh Miang, hard coral bommies and rocks line up along a slope that reaches the sand at around 25 metres. Staghorn and pore coral make up most of the reef, and a few rocks carry soft corals. The shallow, sheltered reef is used for check dives, training and snorkelling. After dark turtles sleep on the reef while crabs, squid and cuttlefish forage, and nurse sharks sometimes come in to hunt crustaceans. Garden eels and stingrays live on the sand.
