Million Hope

The Million Hope hit the reef off Nabq in 1996, and its cargo and fuel were removed before it sank, according to Camel Dive Club. The ship sits upright with its starboard side against the reef, its five huge holds, bridge and crew quarters within reach. A separate crane next to the wreck is overgrown with soft corals and surrounded by glassfish and lionfish. Nudibranchs, crocodilefish and pipefish live in the sheltered corners, while snappers and batfish gather on deck. With no shelter from swell, the wreck is only dived when the sea is calm.
