Turtle Cavern
Also known as: Turtle Cave
A bell-shaped tunnel leads from the entrance down into a lower chamber, where turtle skeletons lie in fine silt. Following the left side of the cavern brings divers to a tunnel that connects to Turtle Tomb, a deeper cave system. The site is an overhead environment that may only be entered with a qualified local guide, proper lights and good buoyancy control. Even divers who stay at the mouth get a striking view of the blue framed by the cave walls, sometimes with whitetip reef sharks passing.
