New Life
The descent follows a steep sloping wall with many holes and ledges before the slope eases onto a flatter area of coral heads. Juvenile species are common, along with stonefish, scorpionfish, harlequin sweetlips, pinnate batfish, lionfish and many crustaceans. Turtles rest on the reef, and whip corals and sea fans reach into the nutrient-rich current.
