Artificial Reef
What first looks like a collection of junk turns out to be a busy habitat spread over a wide sandy area. Schools of juvenile barracuda, batfish and jacks patrol between the structures, often followed by giant trevally and great barracuda. Giant groupers lurk inside the frames, while ribbon eels, frogfish, ornate ghost pipefish, papuan cuttlefish and nudibranchs live on and around them. The sandy bottom silts up easily, so careful finning keeps the visibility. It is one of the largest dive sites on Mabul.
