La Puntilla
Also known as: Little Point
La Puntilla begins at a mooring in about 6 m, from where the reef curves away and can be dived anywhere down to about 20 m depending on certification. Four huge boulders that fell from the wall now lie on the reef and form passages and swim-throughs. Coral is plentiful, and the resident frogfish and seahorses are the main attractions, joined by barracuda, rays, lobsters and flamingo tongue snails. The shallow part suits first-time and training divers, while the deeper sections are kept for certified divers. Some surge can be felt close to the wall.
