Scoglio del Diamante
Also known as: Diamond Rock
Under normal conditions this is a relaxed dive with very good visibility, which makes it popular with underwater photographers. Enormous boulders lie stacked along the base of two walls from a few metres down to about 30 m, forming cavities, roofs and passages. On the western side red coral appears at around 25 m, and the holes hold lobsters, slipper lobsters, crabs, moray eels and forkbeards. Groups of brown meagre and groupers swim outside, and looking out into the blue divers sometimes see barracuda, dentex or tuna. Two tall pinnacles with a gap between them mark the way back to the mooring.
