Rapid Horn
Rapid Horn marks the southern tip of the Osprey Reef atoll. The dive is a drift along a vertical wall that plunges about a thousand metres and finishes on a plateau where large schools of fish gather. Because the tip is exposed, operators only visit it in summer when northerly winds prevail. Grey whalers, bumphead parrotfish, barracuda, bigeye trevally and Maori wrasse are among the species seen.
