Half Way Wall

Also known as: Half Way

Half Way Wall owes its name to its position halfway between North Horn and False Entrance on Osprey Reef. The mooring sits on the very edge of the wall, which falls away beneath the boat to more than a thousand metres. Several coral bommies rise from around twenty metres near the edge. Grey and whitetip reef sharks, bigeye trevally schools and dogtooth tuna are typical. Divers also describe maze-like passages through the reef.
