Police Pier

Police Pier was one of the first dive sites used in the area. A sand and rubble slope carries soft corals and many orange sponges and a small muck area, and the pearl farm shacks on stilts have become meeting points for marine life. Dive The World describes it mainly as a night dive with snake eels, stargazers, free-swimming morays, flamboyant cuttlefish and finger dragonets on the grey bottom and hundreds of Banggai cardinalfish in the rocky patches. Lembeh Resort lists painted frogfish, crocodile fish, black saddle snake eels and ornate ghost pipefish.
