Jahir
Also known as: Jahir 1
Lembeh Resort says Jahir is named after the five guides who found it, from the first letters of their names. The site is a plain black volcanic sand slope with rope sponges and some coral in the shallows, and purple heart urchins with zebra crabs living among their spines. Highlights include hairy and other frogfish, flamboyant cuttlefish, wonderpus and mimic octopus, ornate ghost pipefish and many venomous fish. Lembeh Resort and Dive The World both rate it as an excellent night dive, when stargazers show their faces in the sand.
