Sumisaki
Also known as: 住崎 (Japanese)
Its biggest rock is known as Kagokaki no Ne, and Coral Queen says groups of stripeys, Moorish idols and bannerfish there are used to divers and come close. Resident reef fish are plentiful, and ARK offers three buoys so that divers of every level can pick a suitable route. Nudibranchs, frogfish and jawfish keep macro photographers busy, while green turtles turn up in summer and bigfin reef squid spawn here in early summer. ARK notes that currents rarely affect the site.
