Amihata

Also known as: アミハタ (Japanese)

Unlike the rocky sites nearby, Amihata has little relief, which makes depth control easy. The small fish reef on the sand is home to a school of anthias that ARK calls rare on Honshu, and to boxfish and pinecone fish. The sand around it holds many gobies, enough to fill a whole dive. Nanki Seaman's Club logs report angelsharks and anemone shrimps here, and one log describes entering at Amihata and surfacing at Glass World.
