Bizen
Also known as: 備前 (Japanese)
Several rocks host tomato hinds wrapped in clouds of cardinalfish and sweepers, a tropical scene rarely seen on Honshu. The sand west and south of the rocks is a goby garden where shrimp gobies appear once the water warms up, and DIVER Online notes a rare goby that in Japan is known only from Kushimoto and Yakushima. Two fixed buoys with descent lines let guides choose a route by level. Divers can also drift between Bizen and Sumisaki. Because it lies inside the bay, Bizen often stays diveable when the open sea is too rough, although visibility is lower than outside.
